Welcome
Welcome to the Parish of Beltingham with Henshaw. Our new incumbent is the Reverend Canon Stephen Wright. Steve is also vicar of Holy Cross Church at Haltwhistle and St Cuthbert's at Greenhead..We also regularly welcome Rev'd Keith Teasdale who recently retired from a Parish in Carlisle to preside over Sunday Morning Holy Communion services.
The parish has its own Church Wardens, elected by the residents of the parish, and its own Parochial Church Council (PCC) elected by regular worshippers of the parish who are members of the electoral roll.
Although we are part of the Church of England – the church established by law – we receive no financial support from the state and need to raise in excess of £60,000 each year to continue to serve the communities of which we are part. If you would like more information about how to support the work of the parish, please contact the Vicar or the Treasurer as listed below.

Our Parochial Church Council (PCC)
Members of the PCC are elected by those on the Parish Electoral Roll. PCC responsibilities include insuring and maintaining the church buildings and land, and paying the Parish Share to the Diocese. The PCC includes a Deanery Synod representative who will bring back news from the General, Diocesan and Deanery Synods, and can take parish opinions to higher levels in the church hierarchy.
