Welcome to the Parish of Beltingham with Henshaw

Our parish, which comprises St Cuthbert's Church at Beltingham and All Hallows' Church,Henshaw is part of the Diocese of Newcastle and is situated in the Deanery of Hexham. We serve the communities of the South Tyne Valley of Northumberland that run alongside the most famous and breath-taking sections of Hadrian’s Wall. The Reverend Canon Steve Wright has recently been appointed to this parish and Steve is also Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Haltwhistle and Greenhead.,

On this ancient frontier, we are living communities of faith who seek in all things to follow Jesus’ command to love God and love our neighbour with compassion, and generosity, and openness to all.
