A modified Holy Communion service, following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was held at All Hallows' Church presided over by Reverend Canon Steve Wright.

In his address, Steve spoke about Queen Elizabeth's Christian Faith and the openess with which she expressed how she had gained strength from her faith throughout her life, not only in times of adversity but also in times of celebration. Her Christian faith was reflected in her actions in daily life, her unfailing service to the nation pledged when she was only 21 years old, her warmth and, compassion, her leadership abilities and love for her family and her animals.

Steve read out many extracts from her speeches in which she spoke about her faith.

The following is from her Christmas address to the nation in 2020:-.

'The teachings of Christ have served as my inner light, as has the sense of purpose we can find in coming together to worship'

The service concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, God save our gracious KIng.
