The Coffee Morning, held for the first time in Bardon Mill Village Hall was a great success. The proceeds came to just over £500 and after expenses, we were able to donate £500 to causes benefitting mothers.£250 was given to the Mothers'Union Campaign "Gifts of Perseverence", supporting projects for mothers in the UK and worldwide. £250 was donated to the MU Newcastle Diocese AFIA fund. This is the fund which provides Away From It All holidays and Away Days for needy families in the Newcastle Diocese. We are very grateful for the support we received.
