A new year , a new venture

The first gathering of the newly formed Film Club took place on 16th January 2024. The afternoon began with cake and tea/coffee served at 3.45pm followed by the film at 4.00pm which was the extremely entertaining and thought provoking 'The Lady in the Van'  based on the true experience of Alan Bennett starring the very talented Maggie Smith and Alex Jennings as Alan Bennett.

Several films are available to choose from and vote for during coffee following the Sunday morning service. It is a condition of our church film licence that the name of the film should not be advertised,  so there may be an element of mystery beforehand.

The next film will be shown at 3.45pm on Tuesday 20th February.

All are welcome. Do come and join us for an enjoyable couple of hours with friends in a warm,cosy environment.
